64. THE PROGRAM MUST BE CHANGED. ....
(15th November, 2014)
I am fully admitting the integrity and dedication during the life time spent by Com.EMS to set up the working class movement in India, especially forming CPI(M) in 1964. SA Dange and others sticked upon to merge the communist movement with Congress. But the policy of Dange based on the issue to promote Indian capitalism and the same is in time also. This is on a misunderstanding that socialism is impossible through Parliamentary system. We cannot establish socialism through armed revolution because socialism is a stage of society where the needs of the society developed through economic development. ........
Through armed revolution only we can reach in power in a country where no democracy is existing. After reaching in power the establishing of socialism only through socialist planning with the cooperation of all sectors of the society based on Marxian ideology. Now in India the constitution of India is a "Socialist" one and all opportunities to propagate the socialist ideas among the working class and common peoples and during the period before 1950s, we cannot imagine this.... We must give up the concept to promote the Indian capitalism by changing the "Program".
To understand what I am saying we must study the history of old Soviet Union since 1920s, ie, after the 4 years rebel war against the little Soviet Union and about 2.5 crores of men were killed. At the time when starting the process of establishing socialism, no industries where there and nothing to utilize such as capital; technology; raw materials; technicians, etc. But the working class and poor men; farmers with the socialism and the support of Marxian theory, there happened the wonder in the world. 25,000 employees formed themselves and they made wonderful things there.
And in India, during 1950s, the leaders decided to promote Indian capitalism without understanding what is CAPITALISM and what is the history of capitalism; what is the role can be made with Marxian theory and what role can be played by the working class. Only they can do to suffer hardships; more and more.
The first elected Communist State Government in India; in Kerala; in 1957; EMS Government invited BIRLA to start a Rayons factory (MAVOOR RAYONS; BY BIRLA; IN KERALA) and (LDF) Budhadeb Government, in West Bengal acquired 9127 farmers farm land to start a Car factory at Bengal by TATA was as a part of that decision. So since 1950s, Indian working Class are reluctant to co-operate with the working class movement in India because to promote capitalism means to promote exploitation. When decided to promote "CAPITALISM" bourgeois became our friend; the class struggle theory became vogue. On that decision; S A Dange and others proved that they didn't knew to what purpose Karl Marx invented the ideas as "MARXISM". On this conception; all bourgeois and capitalist countries such as USA; BRITAIN; FRANCE etc. countries can be see only friendly nations.
Since 1950s, (after 64 years since the decision) as there is no socialism before Indian Working class and decided to promote capitalism, most of the leaders (not everybody) have no ideas about socialism. They knew only about capitalism and according to them nothing to worry about promoting capitalism. They are considering politics as job. They don't know about poverty; financial hardships suffering by working class because most of them not belongs to working class family. But the working class those who joined in the movement; only understanding when they gained the class about the economical stand only in party class; they will not convince the necessity of promoting capitalism; will slowly quit the movement without racing any objection about the economical stand. Somebody who remains in the party; when the party became the means of existence and those who are on the top of any mass organisations. When they came over their position in such organisations; will became sleeping member or quit the party. So whatever hardships made to overcome the pathetic condition, all ends in vain.
..........So I request the leaders to consider to change the PROGRAM and will only capable to fulfil the responsibilities laid on working class movements in India.
