WHILE GIVING ALL SUPPORT TO THE ECONOMIC POLICIES OF NARENDRA MODI, COMEDY STRIKES WILL FOLLOW FOR EVER. IT IS NOT AGAINST ANYBODY AND WITHOUT ANY INTENTION. ONLY WANT FREE DEVELOPMENT OF CAPITALISM. NO "CLASS ENEMIES, CLASS STRUGGLES". NOTHING WILL SAY AGAINST PRIVATIZATION OF PUBLIC ASSETS OR BANNING OF PERMANENT POSTINGS, INCLUDING MILITARY. COMMUNIST PARTY FOR CAPITALISM.
FATE OF THE COUNTRY AND
140 CRORES OF INDIANS.
//
The most unfortunate fact is that there are not even a remote consideration to change the PARTY PROGRAM based on to PROMOTE INDIAN CAPITALISM AND INDIAN EXPLOITERS, when the COMMUNIST MOVEMENTS in India is facing acute dilapidation. The attitude accepted since1950s to promote EXPLOITERS, will not reconsider even though the experience of 75 years specifically proves that without the target of SOCIALISM, the ideology MARXISM cannot exist.
//
Even now those who are stern in the "ARMED REVOLUTION " and "WORKING CLASS DICTATORSHIP" don't know the fact that USSR is not existing now where actual ARMED REVOLUTION AND WORKING CLASS DICTATORSHIP existed. The fact that the "POLITICAL POWER" which was vested only in the "KING" in the history have been transferred to "PEOPLES" in DEMOCRACY. The truth behind this political fact cannot deny MARXISM as MARXISM being a SOCIAL SCIENCE.
//
The Communist leadership in India in the 1950s was on the conclusion that Socialism can be established in India, only through "Armed" revolution and the dictatorship of the working class. What is said in K. Damodaran's Marxist textbook and what is said in the works of Comrade EMS is that socialism cannot be established through parliamentary means. The current situation is that those who have taken over the leadership after them cannot go back on what the entire country of India has been taught in "PARTY CLASSES". According to the Constitution of India, adopted on January 26, 1950, India is a "sovereign; secular; democratic republic". In 1976, under the leadership of the Indian National Congress, the word "socialist" became part of the constitution. Currently, according to the Indian constitution, India is a "sovereign; secular; socialist, democratic republic".
//
The specialty of democracy is that all sections of the people have a role in deciding who should rule the country. There are all sections of the people in a country. There will be the most intelligent and the most stupid. Fools only have a majority sometimes. Not always. People also testing political parties every time when they voting. There are very few people who have a firm decision that "I will vote only for this symbol". No party can win only with their votes alone. That is what is happening to the Indian National Congress in India. The Indian people are rejecting the Congress, which has ruled India for more than 65 years, in each state. It contested 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh in 2021 and did not win a single one. In Delhi, in February 2025, they contested all the assembly seats, but did not win in any one. Even if Communist parties ask for votes for capitalism, they do not always win. That's what's happening in Bengal, too. But extreme idiots won't understand any of that. That's what's happening all over India now. By not fielding candidates for the socialist system and not allowing people to vote, Communist parties are also destroying democracy also.
//
Democracy does not just mean that the majority rules. In a democracy, every citizen also has political power. The majority can govern democratically through observing all democratic manners such as free from corruption; impartial judiciary; impartial executive, protecting civil rights of the citizen; etc. otherwise they can prevent them from being returned to power. That is the reason ,, the peoples of India rejected the ruling of INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS IN INDIA. If there is a situation that overthrows democracy itself, there will be situations where the people will directly take action. Such situations occurred in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 2024. Indira Gandhi, who declared a state of emergency in India in 1975, was unable to win the subsequent elections. The communist parties in India are also unable to gain the trust of the people because they adopt an anti-socialist stance.
//
If the communist parties do not accept the goals set forth by Marxism, they will not be able to move forward. Not understanding that Kerala is not India is like not understanding Marxism. They have repeatedly proven that the people of Bengal will not vote for capitalism. They also do not understand democracy. They are blindly repeating the word "WORKING CLASS DICTATORSHIP" and armed revolution without understanding those words are irrelevant in a democratic system as humanity cannot return to history. Continue to live to the fullest age with no responsibility to anyone other than selfishness. That's all.
//
Before bridges were built on rivers, small boats were used to cross the river. But after the bridge was built, no one insisted that boats were needed to cross the river. The reason why we keep talking about armed revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat is because we don't know what democracy is. All citizens are equal under Articles 14 and 15 of the Indian Constitution. If peoples mandate is requested to implement that, all human beings will vote for socialism. But the basic issue is that the Communist parties in India are not ready to ask for votes for Socialism.
//
No one in the COMMUNIST PARTY could understood that the "COMMUNIST PARTY" came in power in Kerala during 1957 only due to the fact a "CONSTITUTION" which admitting democracy and adult franchise in India is existing. All citizens, including the "LAND LORD" and the "AGRICULTURAL WORKER" became equal in political power. Unfortunately, the COMMUNIST LEADERSHIP then decided that they will not implement SOCIALISM through "PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY". Poor grasping power to understand actually what is "DEMOCRACY".
//
Modern Parliamentary Democracy came into being only because the Soviet Union was able to defeat Germany in World War II. And that only happened because the people adopted the philosophy of Marxism along with socialism. If the Soviet Union had lost to Germany then, and fascist Germany had won, the world would not be in the same state it is today. When modern parliamentary democracy was implemented, all citizens of the country had political power. Every Corporate and Worker have only one vote. Unfortunately, Communist movements do not fully understand what democracy is. They are waiting for the monarchies, which will never return for any reason, to stage an armed revolution and establish socialism or eliminate the very idea of socialism. Those who have not even considered what Karl Marx and Lenin said will not be convinced if something say one "Harihara Kurup". If we say that the foundation of Marxism is humanity, no "Communist leaders" will understand, because that was not what Marx said; that humanitarian established it with his own life..
//
In his book "ARTS AND SCIENCE OF WORKING CLASS POLITICS" Com EMS had said that establishing SOCIALISM is impossible through Parliamentary method and even social changes are impossible. The truth is that Com.EMS did not actually knew what Parliamentary "democracy" was or what socialism. In the work mentioned above, he states that he could not complete five years of his rule in Kerala between 1957 and 1967, when he was the Chief Minister. It is said that even if it comes to power in Kerala in the future, it will not be able to complete five years, and therefore "socialism cannot be established through parliamentary means." With all due respect, that comrade was a poor comrade. ... he did not knew that socialism is only possible in the whole of India.
//
Despite ruling continuously for 34 years, no fundamental changes could be brought about in West Bengal. In India's federal structure, political and economic sovereignty lies with the Indian Parliament and the Central Government. Any State Government can only exercise limited powers granted by the Central Government. Major taxes, including income tax, as well as control over large industries and banks, are vested in the Central Government. The Communist Government that came to power in Kerala in 1957 was dismissed by the Central Government on the grounds that law and order had broken down. Comrade EMS and others did not even understood that old Russia, China, and other countries were sovereign states that had the power to establish socialism. Comrade EMS did not understood what democracy is and the country couldn't return to monarchy as there were no monarchy which had ruled India as a whole and old monarchies were hereditary.
//
They don't knew the fact that ARMED REVOLUTION and "WORKING CLASS DICTATORSHIP" relevant only in monarchy, and the same is IMPOSSIBLE in democracy as every CITIZEN holding equal political power. When convincing the CITIZEN about the merit and justice of SOCIALISM, they will implement SOCIALISM in the country by themselves. Even though COMMUNIST LEADERS will say that everything subject to change in each second, they can't understand what changes are happening around them.
//
When there was a dispute over accepting "SOCIALISM" as "Party Program", as Pre-revolutionary Russia was industrially backward, Lenin said that not accepting SOCIALISM would only bury "Marxist ideology". The reason was if SOCIALISM not the target, Marxist ideology cannot exist, because it is the weapon of the working class' for establishing "socialism." That' is the reason to write the work "What should be done?". That's where the relevance of socialist ideology should not be underestimated even a little bit. The acceptance of Lenin's words in Russia led to the formation of the Soviet Union, which helped spread socialism throughout the world. What Lenin pointed out happened in India. Lenin said that if socialism is not accepted, Marxist ideology will only be buried, which is exactly what happened in India. That is what happened when the late General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that the Communist Party, with its hundred-year history, cannot save a country; only the bourgeois party called the Indian National Congress can. The philosophy of Marxism has completely disappeared. Despite claiming a hundred years of history, no one knows what the Marxist ideology as.since 1950s in India, the goal of promoting capitalism has been adopted for over 75 years, and no one has known the true Marxist ideas.
//
Actually those who do not understand anything about Marx said through scientific analysis of social issues will only accept some of Marx's words. For them, Marx's words are like words in religious scriptures. The position of religions is that real life is after death. Religions teach that life on earth is not real life. If that changes, then there are no religions. Similarly, Marxism must also disappear. To that end, they are firmly committed to the "dictatorship of the proletariat" that Marx called for in evaluating monarchies. They will abandon everything that Marx said about it -- even if they work their whole lives, life becomes hell. That is why the CPI(M) and CPI leaderships have adopted the position that there is no problem of socialism in parliamentary democracy and that the free growth of capitalist society is always needed. Humanity cannot return to the old monarchy by abandoning democracy, which devolved political power from being centered solely on the king to each citizen.
//
So, the CPI(M); CPI leadership's abandonment is a reflection of the fact that Marx, evaluating the entire history of mankind, said, "All recorded history is the history of class struggles." In the "Bible" it is the story of the liberation of the Israelites, who were slaves of Pharaoh, under the leadership of Moses, while in India it is the story of the Brahminical rule and the enslavement of the Dravidian people, the original inhabitants of India. In India, people including K. Damodaran decided that there were no class conflicts here. They said that it was enough to promote Indian capitalism. That was the reason to make coalition with Indian National Congress neglecting the class struggle theory in total. The "Government", which is the tool of oppression of the exploiting classes, should never be led by the working classes. What they are saying is that Marx said that socialism cannot be established without the "dictatorship of the proletariat." They don't even need to know what modern democracy is. There is no problem accepting "Socialism on the Indian model." The easy way they find to do that is to say that no one should read Harihara Kurup's social media posts criticizing the party's positions. Even if read it, don't react in any way. The basic issue is how lightly they view the affairs of a country with a population of one hundred and forty crores.
//
"Marxism" was introduced during 1850s. It was a time when the English East India Company, under British rule, created the "British Empire on which the Sun never set" throughout the world. At that time, there was strong Monarchy everywhere. India was then under the "Company rule" of the East India Company. In 1871, the working class in France seized power and established the "Paris Commune", but it was soon overthrown. That was why Marx said that if the working class seizes power through revolution, it will need "WORKING CLASS DICTATORSHIP" for the time being to prevent it from being overthrown by counter-revolutionaries. Karl Marx in the Nineteenth century was not able to evaluate modern parliamentary democracy, which only came into being in the twentieth century.
If the working class had revolutionized and seized power in monarchy, it would have been impossible without the supremacy of the working class. But when democracy was implemented throughout the world, things changed completely. Political power, which had been vested solely in the king, had become vested in every citizen. Moreover, according to the tradition of monarchy, the KING was hereditary. No one can even think of an independent judiciary, an impartial administration, or freedom of expression under a monarchy.
//
After India"s Independence in 1947, the Communist movement in India, were got the leadership of Comrades K Damodaran; EMS; SA Dange, etc., and certainly they had played a crucial role in leading Indian Working Class movement. However, the lack of understanding of the subject of "Marxism" as dealt with by Karl Marx prevented the growth of the Communist movement in India and allowed the power of "Class enemies" to grow to a very large extent. Karl Marx, who introduced the ideology "Marxism", intended to liberate the working class; to eliminate the situation in which not a single person in the world would suffer poverty or go hungry. The way they had implemented MARXISM in India was through the "vision" of developing Indian capitalism. What happened there was a complete denial of whatever social system; CAPITALISM; Marx had devoted his life to eradicate from the world.
//
Since 1950s, under the leadership of S A Dange, undivided COMMUNIST PARTY did not admitted that the "EXISTING SOCIAL SYSTEM IS BASED ON "EXPLOITATION BASED". Then not necesitating applying MARXISM. There will be no class enemies. Actually, there was a tatics to hide the BRAHMIN SUPERMACY, AND FOUR CASTE SYSTEM. The concept to accept "ARSHA BHRATH" was also a part of hidden tactics. That was the reason to promote Indian CAPITALISM and make coalition with Indian Natiinal Congress, neglecting what is the base of CLASS STRUCTURE of INC. Perhaps may be ignorance of CLASS CONTRADICTIONS. But some Comrades including EMS, could understood the hidden tactics and danger behind Dange, and resisted maximum and later which caused the split and reasons to form CPIM. But after EMS, those who couldn't understand the CLASS CONTRADICTIONS, under the leadership of Yechuri and Prakash Karatt, became the followers of old Dange, merging in INC, deadly against MARXIAN IDEOLOGY. They reached the conclusion that only INC can save India and no necessity of existing a COMMUNIST PARTY, which can do nothing in India. The finding of 24th CPIM Party CONGRESS was based on this. And as a result CPIM leadership wil not place even CANDIDATES to defend BJP or INC which actually representing Indian exploiters. In Kerala also, there are no "CLASS ENEMIES", only "development" which to bourgeois considering only word of "nuisance" or a word for cheating the public.
//
The mistake that the Communist movements in India made was that the undivided Communist Party decided in the 1950s that Socialism could not be established in a democratic way. It did not understood what democracy is. The Constitution of India was adopted on January 26, 1950, recognizing universal adult suffrage. Even then, in all parts of India, the backward classes did not have the right to purchase land in their own names or even adopt their own names. Most of the land rights were reserved for Brahmins, temples, and the king. Those who did not have the right to pay land tax did not have the right to vote. But no one understood the "revolution" of giving voting rights to all adults in India. The role played by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in it was not fully understood. According to the Indian Constitution, both the landlord and the tenant have only one vote.
//
The victory of Soviet Union in 2nd World War over Germany and the ruin of British empire were not known to the leaders of Indian Communist movements. Its effects have played a considerable role in the victory of China and China also became a SOCIALIST COUNTRY. The ideology MARXISM got victory over most of the countries. Those facts also played a considerable role in the modern Parliamentary democracy in India. That is the reason why a "Communist" Government through parliamentary democracy came to power in Kerala in 1957. No one understood what it meant to say that everything is always subject to change. So the undivided party leadership decided that Socialism through "bourgeois" parliamentary democracy" is impossible. Means only know nothing about modern Parliamentary democracy. Even after 75 years, they are not ready to change their position. No one even understands that humanity cannot go back to the old monarchy to carry out an armed revolution. What happens in democracy is not just that the monarchy is abolished also means that all the hereditary rights that existed until then are denied. The monarchy was hereditary. All important responsibilities (positions) were reserved for members of the royal family. It is difficult to abolish "hereditary rights" even through armed revolutions.
//
Due to the ignorance of "democracy", "class contradictions", the message of MARXISM, what "SOCIALISM" is, neglecting working class, Dange and others followed during 1950s was deadly surrendering before Indian Bourgeois with admitting Bramin supermacy along with four caste system. The evidence is they admitted "ARSHA BHARATHA" culture also. With the same bundle of parcels, they were prepared to make amalgamation with Indlan National Congress under the leadership of SA Dange. The enmity kept towards Dr B R AMBEDKKAR, by Dange was also part of that. Comrades EMS and others fought against DANGEYISM which resulted the split in 1964 as CPIM and CPI. Com EMS admited "CAPITALISM" was just to promote industrialisation, but not the entire "CAPITALISM" in total as the politics admitted INC and hence EMS was against coalition with INC. EMS and others planned as "PEOPLES DEMOCRACY" and Dange was with BOURGEOIS Democracy or "NATIONAL" democracy. Those Dange and others planned to merge with INC through surendering the ideology in total. Later CPI had convinced the danger behind the step taken by Dange and DANGE was expelled from CPI. But Dange was stern and he formed another Party as "AICP", but not survived more. Unfortunately Sitaram Yechuri and CPIM in total admited since 2016, the method what Dange and others had accepted since 1950s, that total surendering the ideology MARXISM and surrendering before Indian Bourgeois. That is the reason in permitting privatization of public sector industries in total along with all wealth of the country. Sitaram Yechuri was more dangerous than old Dange as Dange hadn't said that "only INC can save India", but CPIM PB admitted Yechuri, neglecting the future of Indian Working Class movements.
//
Under the misconception that socialism cannot be established in India except through armed revolution and the dictatorship of the working class, the leaders of Communist moments during 1950s had accepted the way was actually neglecting MARXISM in total. But even if they come to power through elections, the Communist Party leadership is not convinced that socialism can be established.
They are firmly committed to the dictatorship of the working class. They are unaware that the old Soviet Union no longer exists. Armed revolution is not the solution to anything. No one in Russia wants to return to the old way of life. That suggests that popular cooperation is also needed in socialist commodity production. Democracy ensures that. It is a fact that a Communist Party can function only according to the situation of each country and history of any other country cannot repeat in another country. In India, they cannot identify the difference under British rule were the functions were banned in total and can function according to the clasuses of the Constitution of the country. So the Communist movements are not ready to request vote for implementing SOCIALISM in the country.
//
The failure of the leadership of the "Communist Party" of India in the 1950s to understand what "Marxism" has become a total disaster for the more than 1.4 billion Indian people. Now no one have the obligation to listen when one "Harihara Kurup" saying anything. Even two centuries later, no one understands the changes that have occurred in the world conditions of the 1850s, as Karl Marx said for the socialist system. In the 1850s, the British Empire, on which the Sun never set, was established by the English East India Company, which had completely conquered India. The era of monarchy throughout the world. When the Paris Revolution of 1871 was overthrown, Marx spoke of the "dictatorship of the proletariat" for an interim period to prevent the overthrow of post-revolutionary regimes. But the leadership of the "Communist Party" in India knew only that word. They are using that word alone to subvert Marx's entire life goal: a socialist system where no one has to go hungry and where even the working class is treated with dignity. The "Communist Party" leaderships that emerged later took a firm stance that they would not deviate even a millimeter from the leaderships of the 1950s.
//
A Communist party cannot function without a clear MARXIST PHILOSOPHY. Bourgeois political parties that stand for the capitalist system only need "selfishness," the foundation of capitalism. Those who stand for selfish interests will cooperate with it. There, the interests of society or the interests of the Country are not an issue. That is not the case with the Communist Party. No one's selfishness is the basis there. It is the progress of society as a whole; of all those who work and are subject to capitalist exploitation.
//
In the 1950s, the leadership of the undivided Communist Party, led by S. A. Dange and others, was ready to promote Indian capitalism and form an alliance with the Indian National Congress through completely rejecting "Classes and Class Contradictions" - the theory of class struggle (and Marxism as a whole). From that time onward, it was the resistance led by EMS and others that led to a split in the undivided Communist Party in 1964 and the formation of the CPI(M). However, since 2016, under the leadership of the then CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, along with Prakash Karattu etc. secret efforts have begun to bring the CPI(M) back into the Indian National Congress. Despite the conviction that the Congress alliance would lead to the complete collapse of the Communist Party, based on the experience in Bengal, the three subsequent Party Congresses attempted to further integrate the party into the Indian National Congress. That means going back to the position of S. A. Dange and others that the entire theory of classes and contradictions - class struggle (Marxism in its entirety) is unnecessary. That means - only - Socialism in any form - will never be accepted in the future also.
//
Although the Communist movement in India has been active for a hundred years, the period before and after India's independence in 1947 must be viewed as two distinct points. Liberation from British rule is the need of all sections of the people. Liberation from British rule and liberation from capitalist exploitation of the Indian people are two different things. Liberation from British rule came about as a result of the Soviet Union's victory in World War II and the terrible damage Britain suffered from German bombing, the collapse of the German, Italian, and Japanese powers, and the rise of the Labor Party to power in Britain, were all factors. After the "Quit India" strike in 1942, Indian National hadn't played in India's Independence strike.
//
Only when admitting SOCIALISM as CPIM/CPI PARTY PROGRAM, MARXIST IDEOLOGY will become weapon against exploiting classes.
//
From 1950s Dange and others totally neglected Indian Working Class and cheating will continue for ever. But never will admit SOCIALISM as party program. See my blog 500 also. Will change the situation after 5 or 500 years, that BJP will disappear from Indian Politics?
//
It was because Lenin had understood what Marxism and its relationship to the working class that he adopted the goal of socialism in Russia, despite the pathetic growth of capitalism during the Tsarist era. In "What Should Be Done?", Lenin says that to underestimate the relevance of "SOCIALISM" even slightly would be to give way to bourgeois ideas. That's not all Lenin said. He also said that the
more socialist ideology is in its infancy, the more intolerant it must be of non-socialist ideology. No one in India understood that during 1950s. K. Damodaran, the Marxist Master of that time, turned to "Indian philosophy" along with "ARSHA BHARAT" instead of socialism. In fact, K. Damodaran had abandoned Marxism there. That was, he turned to capitalist growth. That means that Comrade did not understood anything related to Marxism. Otherwise, they would not have taken the position that there are no class enemies. Not only "there are NO CLASS ENEMIES", but also it continues that the existing social system not based on exploitation, and so there are not the question of exploitation free social system, SOCIALISM. Even after 75 years, things remain the same. The political leadership of the Indian bourgeoisie cannot be seen as class enemies. Lenin wrote "What Should be Done?" in 1901. Exactly what Lenin said in that work happened in India after the 1950s. In 1952, the then Jana Sangh, which had only two members of Parliament, grew to rule India. The Communist movements in India, which claim a history of a hundred years, considering that they have no "class enemies". Even though Communist movements have no class enemies, socialism does not seem to be a necessary factor to anyone. Party cadres are also fully cooperating with the directive that no one should read or respond to the social media posts of a "Harihara Kurup". Since 2002, I am requesting that they should stop promoting capitalism, but the hostility towards Harihara Kurup has not diminished even a little, even after the party's almost demise.
Party Comrades who don't even understand that this is an issue that affects one hundred and forty crore people and a country with most population in the world itself.. The party leadership that considers strikes and meaningless comments against no one as great things. It is not even understood that the Communist Party cannot survive by strengthening exploitative class regimes.
