The
important criticism on CPI(M) Party Program included in my book "Why
SOCIALISM is not being implemented in India? published on 1st January
2005 is that it cannot be implemented as long as the concept is to
promote Indian CAPITALISM because the basic findings of Karl Marx is
that only economic base structure of the country will determine
its political and cultural upper structure. Due to the ignorance of
MARXISM, nobody could grasp what is the criticism of Hariharakurup.
The party imposed the maximum punishment that the party could impose,
"removal from party membership." That punishment still remains in
effect. So Party had taken the decision to neglect about criticism as
well as the contents of basic Marxian ideology. But the result was diminishing the Party over all in
India. During 2005 period, the stage of the party was very good than today. While promoting capitalism; the Class struggle theory of MARXISM
became irrelevant. The instruction of Party Leaders is that should not
"like" or comment in the postings of Hariharakurup. This caused to
prevent to reach the postings to Comrades those who want to see them.
//
Only
if the Party leaders understand Marx's crucial discovery that the
economic base of society determines the political and cultural
superstructure the danger of the position of that "free development of
capitalist society" will be convinced. Since 2002, I am trying my best
to convince the Communist Party (Marxist) leaders -- the Central
Committee and Politburo of this issue, but nowhere reaching anywhere.
Although the party program states
in paragraph 6.5 that the public sector will have a crucial place in
the economy of a people's democracy, the CPI(M) giving all support when
BJP Government privatizing each and every Public Sector assets. They
don't even understand the danger of the country becoming poor. No matter
how many all-India strikes are held, none of them will consider the
demands against the privatization of all public sectors and against a
complete ban on permanent appointments. There will not be a single word
from the party leadership against the complete elimination of job
opportunities, including for backward classes who deserve reservation.
Such issues will not be an issue even in the elections because the
CPI; CPI(M) is not prepared to make any change in its stance of "free
growth of capitalist society". //
The Communist leaders of the 1950s, S A Dange; K. Damodaran and EMS, did not understand was not only that the entire written history was history of class struggles. contradiction-based materialism and class antagonisms, but also Marx's fundamental discovery is that the environment determines consciousness; consciousness does not determine the environment. Part of that is the discovery that a country's economic system deciding its political and cultural superstructure. These matters were made clear in the work "A Contribution to Political Economy", which Marx prepared before writing "Das Capital". This issue was presented distractedly in K. Damodaran's "Marxist Classes". But that Comrade did not understand the issue. Otherwise, he would not have decided to promote Indian capitalism, which was built on Brahminism and feudalism. The monarchy was maintained by feudal lords. The capitalist system is maintained by capitalists or their money power. In India, it is the Indian National Congress and the BJP that protect Indian Corporates. In return, they will protect the Congress and the BJP. But no matter how much the Communist Party takes the stance that capitalism should grow, the Corporates, Congress, and BJP will not allow the Communist Party to survive in India. The philosophy of "Marxism" is entirely designed to establish all of this. It is quite natural that Pinarayi Vijayan, Prakash Karat, or Sitaram Yechury do not understand things that comrades K Damodaran and EMS do not understand. But what happens when we ignore the specific points made in all of Lenin's works is what is happening to the Communist Party of India, which has a history of over a hundred years. The leadership of the CPI or CPI(M) will not consider such things because a "Harihara Kurup" nothing to them even though it will cause to cease the Communist movements in India.
//
Marxism, which admits Charles Darwin's "theory of evolution" and Louis H. Morgan's "Anthropological studies", admits "democracy" also in which the political power of the kingdom is transferred to the individual citizen, which was "only in the king" in the monarchy. The glory of democracy is that everyone is considered a "human being" regardless of caste and religion. True democracy is "of the people; by the people; for the people". If any bourgeois political parties do not admit true democracy, it is their responsibility alone. It is the duty of the working class to make democracy free from money and caste-religious forces. Only the working class, which produces the nation's wealth through hard work in all fields, can perform that task. True democracy - people's democracy - can only be achieved with socialism that recognizes the dignity of labor and the worker.
//
Without understanding the fact that actually what is "PEOPLES DEMOCRACY", - I mean actual democracy; we cannot use "PEOPLES DEMOCRACY" as "weapon" against capitalism and bourgeois, the most powerful weapon against bourgeois, and to get the target of socialism is a fact. When using so, we are using "idea" become using as weapon. In all "war" actual weapons are ideas, (see how BJP using the GOD SRI RAM" as their weapon). When using ideas as weapon, the enemies become arm-less to defend.
//
IT IS THE BASIC UNDERSTANDINGS OF KARL MARX that "Environment determines human consciousness; consciousness does not determine the environment" were Karl Marx's findings at the very beginning of his economic researches. BASED ON THIS, IT IS THE BASIC CONCLUSION OF KARL MARX THAT "ONLY ECONOMICAL BASE STRUCTURE OF THE COUNTRY WILL DECIDE ITS POLITICAL AND CULTURAL UPPER STRUCTURE". (A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy).
//
During the first WORLD WAR period, in 1917, while the Russian Army of T'Sar was war with Germany, the Late LENIN had decided to conduct OCTOBER REVOLUTION in Old Russia. Perhaps all petty bourgeois would thought, when a Country in a most crucial state, the duty of everybody to save the rulers. But the revolutionary mind of Lenin thought, that was the most appropriate time to conduct the revolution. Now we know the late LENIN had done the most suitable action in the history to protect the WORLD itself. Lenin's decision at that time led to a SOCIALIST WORLD ALSO IN THE WORLD THAT CAN THROUGH AWAY CAPITALIST EXPLOITATION FROM THE WORLD and to defeat Germany's disastrous movement and defeat in World War II and a breath of fresh air for democracy throughout the world. If USSR had failed in the 2ND WORLD WAR, THE VICTORY OF NAZI, FASCIST would not allowed even the present Parliamentary Democracy as world wide. Any fraud politicians destroying actual democracy, that is of the people, by the people; and for the people can be treated only as destroying democracy.
In India we feel lack of a revolutionary mind to take apt action when time requires. Evading from the ELECTIONS without contesting in each Constituencies from local bodies to Parliament means only absconding from the people and without presenting anything to the people. Elections are occasions to teach the people actual working class politics. Now it is only part of promoting CAPITALISM, and strengthening bourgeois. escaping from the duties vested the ideology MARXISM on working class.
//
Without understanding anything about MARXISM even the "CLASS CONTRADICTIONS BETWEEN SLAVE AND SLAVE OWNER, EMPLOYEE AND EMPLOYER, Indian "COMMUNIST" leaders decided during 1950s to promote Indian CAPITALISM. They merely declined the words of even LENIN, where he said in the book "WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?" "the importance of SOCIALISM should not see even a little less". Karl Marx introduced the ideology "MARXISM" only to demolish the exploitation based social system "CAPITALISM" from the WORLD itself; even during 1850s and he had exhorted the WORLD WORKING CLASS to unite to get an exploitation free social system, SOCIALISM. The purpose of the work, the world classic, "DAS KAPITAL" was actually to prove the gravity of exploitation of bourgeois and elite wing of the world; which also declined Indian "COMMUNIST LEADERS".
//
There were more than five hundred local kings in India during the post-independence period. None of them have changed fundamentally. All of them are the foundation of Congress and BJP. Neither Congress nor PJP will cause them even a slight injury. That is what Congress and BJP are saying about Ram Rajya. It means that their democracy is only "Ramarajya" (KINGDOM). A building can only stand if its foundation is solid. If the foundation is weak, the building will not stand. Marx connects this with the social system. During the monarchy, the king was supported by feudal lords. They will have a very large area of land as their own and the power to collect tax. They were also known as local kings. They had their own army and powers of execution of laws with death punishments. They should give the king the part of tax and army also when necessitates. All the laws of the monarchy were meant to ensure their survival. They were protecting the king. As time passed, the monarchy disappeared. Old aristocrats became capitalists. But they will help those who protect them instead of the king. Capitalists do not become ministers or contest elections. Instead they will protect the political leaders by paying them what they need. But their interests will be enforced by those who ruling the country. The position that there should be no PSUs are also a part of it. Part of it is that all superstitions must remain. Part of it is that there should be no reservation for backward classes. This is how the Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party are ruling. Such political parties are usually called bourgeois parties. Even if the Congress or the BJP rule, there will all support from Adani--Ambani etc. But they will make every effort to prevent the Communist Party from coming to power in India. The exploiting classes will not change their position even if the Communist Party says that it is okay to promote capitalism.
//
It is part of the hostile stance adopted by the capitalist countries, including the United States, towards the Socialist country China, or the "BAN" implied by the United States against Venezuela the Communist leadership in Kerala or in India as a whole cannot understand the reason for the unrelenting hostility that all the bourgeois parties and their press media are taking towards the Left government in Kerala. Because they have not understood that the class struggle is between which classes. It is impossible to convince the Communist leaders in India that the struggle of the working class to deal with it is the struggle to eliminate the economic domination of the rich classes and to establish socialism. Because it is unwilling to accept that promoting capitalism is an anti-Marxist position.
//
EVEN AT THE TOO LATEST SITUATION, CITU OR AITUC IS NOT READY TO PLACE DEMAND AS PROTECT BSNL, PROTECT PUBLIC SECTOR INSTITUTIONS. I DON'T KNOW ACTUALLY WHO IS THE ACTUAL BLACK SPOT OR REAL CULPRIT IN THE TOP LEADERS OF CPIM OR CPI. WITHOUT SUCH DEMAND, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SAVE INDIAN WORKING CLASS BECAUSE ECONOMIC BASE STRUCTURE DECIDES ITS POLITICAL UPPER STRUCTURE. THIS IS BASED ON PROMOTING CAPITALIST EXPLOITATIIN POLICY WHICH EXISTS SINCE 1950s.
//
But if the communist parties are sure of establishing socialism, the common people, workers and peasants will all be with them. But the Communist parties of India are not ready for that. Only then the ideology MARXISM can work with Indian Working Class as had happened in old USSR, and then there will be a new world, SOCIALIST WORLD, with a population of 4/5 peoples under SOCIALISM, then the dream of Karl Marx become a fact. Now it has the base of democracy, which was also the power of MARXISM , shown in WORLD WAR I & II with the SOVIET UNION.
Communist Parties of all countries can work only according to the situations existing in each country. In India even CONSTITUTION itself admitting SOCIALISM also and the peoples of the country can decide the nature of SOCIALISM.
//
Remember the words of the great Karl Marx - "Here all doubt must be abandoned; all cowardice must perish". is being implemented.
//
Unfortunately things indicate that India, a country consisting of 140 Crores peoples does not have the revolutionary mindset to take appropriate decisions no matter how serious the country is in danger. Even now CPIM PB is not ready to examine the basic concept of MARXISM, that only economic base structure will decide its POLITICAL AND CULTURAL UPPER STRUCTURE, but only stabilizing economic base structure of capitalism. Ignorance, foolishness, and selfishness preventing them to reconsider the PARTY PROGRAM, even without considering the future of 140 Crores Indians.
//
Lenin stressing this in his almost all books that only economic base structure of the country will decide its cultural and political upper structure. Unfortunately none of the "MARXIST' leaders of India could grasp its meaning and during 1950 the then Indian "MARXIST" leaders had decided to promote Indian capitalist base structure.
I am believing in MARXISM, because the findings of Marx was basically only facts. Anybody didn't understood anything which Marx actually stressed in his books; will not affect the facts those Marx clarified in his work. Even K Damodaran; EMS etc. couldn't understood what Marx said; the facts will remain as such. As long as following the present economic policy to "STRENGTHEN CAPITALIST BASE STRUCTURE OF INDIAN ECONOMY, CPI(M); CPI OR ANYBODY ADMITTING THE SAME POLICY, THEY WILL NEVER REACH ANYWHERE IN INDIAN POLITICS.
//.
When I heard in a "Party Class" in 2002; that the concept of the Party is to promote "CAPITALIST STRUCTURE OF THE COUNTRY", I actually wondered, because I knew it will not reach anywhere, as exploiters, bourgeoise will never allow to function a working class movement. I felt only the said political decision was with the intention to demolish working class movements from India. I wrote 22 leters pointing one by one to the then General Secretary Com.Harkishan Singh Surjit and then P B Member Com. S Ramachandran Pillai in Malayalam and English. Then CPIM was very good stage in Bengal. To examine the points which I had mentioned in my letters to Com.Harkishan Singh Surjith; as I knew the matter have to be examined in the Party as a whole; I had entered in my book published on 1 1 2005; but unfortunately Party had expelled me from the party; but nothing had understood the matter by anybody in the Party including Com. SRP. We know; now actually what is the position of the Party in over all India including Bengal.
//
On 18 5 2022; I had visited AKG Centre at Thiruvananthapuram to meet at least Com. SRP even though he is not in PB, to mention the actual fact that while strengthening CAPITALIST BASE STRUCTURE, WORKING CLASS MOVEMENT cannot exist too more and the experience since 1950s; 74 years. But unfortunately, I couldn't met Com. SRP.
Including Sitaram Yechuri, most of the CPIM leaders are placed their full confidence only in Indian National Congress and they will confirm that they want the existence and continuation on INC in its full strength, in India for ever. It is only presenting the actual ideological position of CPIM that it had no confidence in MARXISM and will never admit the actual target of MARXISM, A SOCIALIST INDIA; as each and everybody got lessons only against SOCIALISM and how to defend anybody suggesting for an exploitation free social system. It is clear from each and every actions of INC, its stand is only a "RED FLAG FREE INDIA" but nobody will consider it as GS is in stern stand that only INC will save India.
.
. .Here is the actual facts, which I had mentioned in first portion of this writings; that only ""Environment determines human consciousness; consciousness does not determine the environment" were Karl Marx's findings at the very beginning of his economic researches".
.
IT MEANS IN CAPITALISM; ONLY BOURGEOIS WILL DECIDE WHO MUST BE THEIR RULERS AND THEY WILL NOT ADMIT A COMMUNIST PARTY TO RULE THEM AND TO DECIDE THEIR DEALINGS. THE EXPERIENCE SINCE 1950s IN INDIA; WE CAN ADMIT THIS AND THE GROWTH OF THE COMMUNIST MOVEMENT ALSO PROVE IT. With the concept to promote CAPITALISM; IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ESTABLISH PEOPLES DEMOCRACY IN CAPITALISM.
"KARL MARX IS RIGHT"..
In democracy, people only have a choice whether to vote or not and they cannot regulate how political parties should function; they cannot control as what their actions should be. When "COMMUNIST PARTIES" deciding to neglect MARXISM, neglect SOCIALISM, and deciding to promote CAPITALISM, they are helpless. In India, the Constitution itself recognizes socialism. Communist parties are not ready to admit that too. In post-independence India, the people placed a lot of faith in the Indian National Congress. They welcomed Jawaharlal Nehru's pro-public sector stance. They gave the Congress a four-fifths majority in the Indian Parliament when Indira Gandhi nationalized Banks and Oil companies and adopted "SOCIALISM" in the Constitution itself. But when the Indian National Congress turned out to be totally anti-socialist and a barrage of corruption-bribery-scams, the people could only do away with them from the ruling of India.//When "Communist movements" in India decided became anti-socialist and free growth of capitalism, the people also decided not to vote them. That is what led to a very large majority in the Bengal state assembly in 1977, which changed the position that they should not rule there. If the communist leaders do not know what Marxism is or what democracy is, the only option for the people is not to vote them. The solution they found in Bengal was to join the Indian National Congress, which had removed the Indian people from power neglecting the ideology MARXISM in total.
//
The error committed by the communist movements is the error in understanding what is "capitalism" and what is democracy. They decided that capitalism is the management of the production of "commodities" (products) by private individuals. "Capitalism" is actually the regulations and laws that control and bind workers that have continued since the days of slavery. No human rights were allowed to the "slave". In "Manusmriti"; "Shudra" should not acquire wealth and should not educated, all are part of "Sanatana dharma". Marxism is the philosophy to end them all. If someone gets things wrong, they become a nuisance to others. That is the setbacks faced by communist movements in Indian politics. There too the only thing people can do is not to "vote". When PK Vasudevan Nair and Pannyan Ravindran, who were unblemished in public life, became candidates for the "Thiruvananthapuram" parliamentary constituency in Kerala, people did not consider their caste or religion, but elected. But when the Communist Party itself looked at caste and religion, the people defeated the candidates. When "communist" movements see no harm in fully embracing capitalism, the only thing people can do is not "vote", because they are victims of the "CAPITALISM" for thousands of years back.
